A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever

Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder...

Children are beautiful..

As are roses....

Once upon a time, I was a photographer by profession...

Then, I decided to become an interior designer...As a Gemini, I am allowed to do this...'tis a blessing to be allowed to do what one loves...
As a child, we didn't have alot of money, but my mother, bless her, always made sure we had paper and pencils and a library card...I didn't know we were poor, and I didn't particularly care...There was art, music, nature, and a lovely lady, who had a natural grace about her...
"Above all," she would say "be kind and be honest."  Those words have taken me beyond the sadness and ugliness in this world.
Finding things that have been cast off, such as an old, silverplate teapot, worn through to the nickel...and honoring it, by making it yet another thing of beauty is important...more important (at least to me) than a brand-spanking new ugly espresso machine (although, I do love an espresso now-and-again.

Age is a state of mind...
In this world that if full of fear, anger, greed, and angst...please, hold on to the beauty, and don't forget to dream.
