I stated earlier that I didn't want to further terrify my Gussie by taking her to the vet on Monday, as she's gone quite blind. Upon further reading on-line, I am going to talk to the vet, get a tranquilzer (for her, not me), and take her in...As a responsible pet owner, I owe that to her. It's not about money, but rather, she's terrified of vets, and now, she's in darkness...anyway..that's my decision.

  1. Hi Jess,
Look at little Gussie curled up in that basket. She's so sweet. I hope she's able to find her new way. I know you'll take good care of her. The two of you will be ok. I'm glad to see you posting and talking about it.
    xoxo, Kelly

  2. What a sweet cat. Our vet told us to give our small dog half a benadryl for a tranquelizer. It seem to help.

  3. Kelly,
I seem to have lost the "design" part of the blog, but will return to it...soon. The thing is, my pets take is like that sometimes.
    Thanks for the support.

  4. "wileyfamily",
You have such a sweet family...and I can tell you are enjoying bringing up your "brood"...
I do love the recipes, but have "celiac", and whole wheat bread would really hurt me..really miss it, though.
I have taken Gussie to the Vet, and today's post will bring you up-to-date.
    Thanks for the concern..

  5. Hello Jessica,

How is Gussie today? Hope you both are doing better.

I wanted to let you know you won the coaster set. I couldn't get your email link to work so when you get a chance you can email me your preference...the design and colors you'd like. My email is on the side bar of my blog.

Take care and congrats on your win.

  6. Angie, Darlin',
Just "fixen" to post about poor Gussie, and thanks for your concern.

I can't get much of anything to work on this site lately...again, with all that's gone on, I just plough through, and keep threatening to get a geek in here...first, family, and then, Gussie.
I am so excited about the coasters! Thanks
    I did email you.
